    all things
        eat.

i have been watching
    things eat
        for many years now.

some nibble.
    some gobble.

some rip
    piece by piece
        and some swallow
            whole.

but all things eat.

this truth
    you must know
        if you are

to understand

    pain

              life

              death

and growth.
